I am new to Tidal, and new to AA for that matter so my authority to make such a declaration may be less than fully sanctioned but I make such a proclamation nevertheless.
I was perusing the Tidal catalog this morning for something new to listen to. Sunday morning is classical time, I typically have a theme, last week was female virtuoso violinists that play a Guarneri.
This week I was looking for virtuoso cellists and ran across "Baroque Cello Concertos" by Mstislav Rostropovich where he is playing, among others, compositions from my favorite composer, C.P.E. Bach.
A further search "Rostropovich Bach" produced another album "Vivaldi, Tartini, C.P.E. Bach Cello Concertos" but oddly enough, did not list the one I found earlier so -2 points for weak search function.
There are several albums where he is playing compositions of his father, Bach's, not Rostropovich's. LOL I found the "Baroque Cello Concertos" by an Tidal search of Rostropovich and looking at the title of each item returned from the search.
