Just come from a show in Holland, where they were playing with the new S3's with AR DS450, CD-9, Aurender W20 and a new AR pre/phono amplifier. Very open and wide soundstage and the lightning quick Magico signature. Really enjoyed the 1hr listening session.

Now listening to my own set again, no punishment luckily, V3's will stay a bit longer.

The S3 will fit into your room nicely!

Not particularly interested in S3 but possible S2 would have my attention as future upgrade.

Just curious, did you he to hear the S3 with both the ARC solid state amp as pictured and with the ref 75 which is unused to the left?

Only the DS450, the Ref 75 I think they used last year for a show with Q3's (you can see one behind the rack)

I've never heard of those amps before. Sounds like the system must have sounded impressive. If I was looking for speakers in that budget range and size, I'd be all over the S3. I've not heard them personally yet, but I've heard the S1's and was impressed with their transparency and coherence.
