Since It is a thread about Accuphase and Luxman, I won't go too much off topic here but I did hear the Gryphon Diablo 120 at the Montreal audio show as well as the Luxman L590AXII and It did sound really good also.

As integrated goes though, at that show, my favorite was the Soulution 330.

Audio shows are hardly the right place to hear any component but If one sounds great at a show its a good sign and promising...

The Gryphon sounded indeed spectacular with Graham loudspeaker at the Montreal show.

Of course, I am running the Accuphase E600 with Graham LS5/9 at home with great results as well.

I joined the Luxman camp about 2 weeks ago with a 509x.

What all the reviews say are real.

luxman s not at the leelof650/600 .Accu - formy taste is much better.
the Luxman is a , sorry for the citation , one cina product not at the leel from Accu.

Grandinote sound amazing s. Accu 650/600/480...
Accuphase with Gauder or Tidal have a sound a little "cold" but is a personal taste > I like this combo....
Grandinote with a "diamont or ceramic tweeter are really stunning. Focal are too good .
Gryphon Diablo 300 is too very cool but dartZeel is another world..

Thrax ampli play greets:Vitus dont play musi... only noise

speakers? Magico A3v Gauder Berlina or others...
Monitor Audio 100 or 200 win for performance/price.
warm sound with Accu ? Tannoy or Wuilson Benesch, Tad,,,,

Restock - do you feel the 600 has enough power for the 5/9 ?
How large is your room ?
Thanks!

Default Accuphase E650 or the Luxman L590axII

No issue driving the LS5/9 - my room is open concept and about 20 x 24 (with some odd corners) with a listening area of 14 x 12.

That said the Devore O/96 have a much easier time filling the room with the E600.

Overall slight preference is the Devore for Jazz/Rock and the LS5/9 for Classical with the E600 although I could live with either speaker for all music in combination with the E600.

Especially, how would you compare the sound of 330 with other integrated amps in the light of technical specs (330 has much better resolution numbers than Accuphase 650, 480 etc.). But being a Swiss product, Swiss are notorious with high priced products, so it may not be the best bang for the buck after all.
Right now, used Gryphon 300s go for $9000 to $10000. Soulution 330 around $10000. Accuphase 650 for $9000 (not in US). I believe the brand new Accuphase 480 is $7000 (not in US). And all of these products less than 1yr old or few months old. If all of this is true, what would be the best bang for the buck? Also, in terms of reliability, how does 330 scores against Accuphase and Gryphon?

Hello - just like many - I am trying to take a sensible decision between the 590AXii and the e650....could you post a detailed review comparing both ? please ? Understand you havent heard the 650 but you had Acc e600? and you say 590AXii is better ?
