I have a buddy in my neighborhood that is all about SW canon... I mean, he has an actual SW museum in his home that rivals in commitment to some of the HT or listening rooms we have among us here. He's an awesome dude and my go-to guy for anything SW. That said, I'm not a movie-goer from his viewpoint. I go to/watch movies to simply be entertained. I can spend $10 at Starbucks for a few minutes of enjoyment of $10 at a theater for a few hours... or $25 for many hours on a Bluray. It's just art in it's own form... some better than others. I try not to overthink it.

From our perspective here, the better the resolution and audio engineering, the better the visual entertainment or audio fidelity, the higher the "value" of the time spent devouring it, but at the end of the day, it's just a movie. I can spend the same money and go to the zoo and have a blast... I don't feel ripped of on any level if things in the storyline don't pan out the way I'd have done it or if some things fizzled when others shined.

Tomato, toMAHto...

Good analogy. My feelings in a nut shell. Look at the success it's had at the box office, so you go and enjoy and not over think it.

I love the geakyness of this W9TR. I mean that as s total compliment!!

Yes everyone mentioned Snoke - he reminded me of the evil guy in the Harry Potter movies. It was weak. The evil emperor was way better
But I love all Star Wars movies. I can't help myself.

So am I the only one that thinks Darth Maul was one of the coolest characters they never really tapped into ?
