Batten Down the Hatches..........
Best of luck to all east coast members. Just spoke to a friend in FL and he said they dodged a bullet and is headed out for a bike ride. Have moved my lowest McIntosh piece up to the second shelf (don't think I'll get more than 18" in the basement at the shore house - but you never know). Generator is full of gas and another 48 hours in cans, so the sump pumps will have power, as will the 'fridge and other small draw. If I'm lucky, even the stereo. Plywood standing by to go up over the picture windows tomorrow and all loose bits outdoors moved into the garage. Stocked up on food and water and we are ready. Just hope one of our big oaks or pines doesn't decide to fall on the house. Have fun..............

Stocked up on water, batteries, propane, tarps, and duct tape. Got to get some candles.
Also was able to pick up a 5000 watt Generator. If I don't use it, I'll bring it back.
