Speaker cable questions.
1. I Bi-amp my B&W 802 and currently use two seperate cables. Should I get one run of WW Eclipse then bi -wire . Or two runs of the WW Equinox 6.
2. I have the Marantz MM8003 Amp the binding posts on the back have these plastic wrap around sheilds. I don't wan't to go bare wire and I don't think eithe the bannanas or spades will work any ideas

I would go bi-wire or just pick up a set of nice jumpers.

They may work. I am a little concerned about them staying put and having enough contact area as the black plastic tabs allow you to put it in but the screw in the center prevents it from going all the way through

WW banana plugs are epically tight. (insert crude innuendo here) Those bananas will work wonderfully in that amp.
I'd go with the better bi-wire cable over the double-up of the lower end cable.

I was just wondering if it would be better to use the single eclipse Bi- wire and Bi-amp with it. Or use the two runs of the diffent design . I think that they are both OCC copper but the geometry of the design is different .

Might this also depend upon the cable itself? With Kimber 8TC versus 12TC, using two pair of 8TC cables gets more conductors to my binding posts than one bi-wire 12TC would. My speakers are bi-wireable, and with 8TC I have 8 conductors on each terminal. With a single bi-wire pair of 12TC I'd have 8 conductors for low-frequency and 4 for high-frequency, according to Kimber. Since Wireworld cables are undoubtedly made differently this may not be an issue, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Doug.......I see no purpose in bi-wiring other than increasing the cumulative wire gauge between the amp and speakers, which can be accomplished using single runs far more easily, and simplifies terminations.
Bi-amping is a whole different story, which requires independent speaker wire runs for each amplifier, and offers true audible improvements.
