nice pick up Matt. enjoy the new toys and more importantly I hope you enjoy your visit back home. on a separate note, the boys in White Hart Lane have done a nice job with the recent wins vs. Arsenal and Liverpool. Also it's good that Defoe is back in shape now that VdV is out for a few months. Hope you're keeping up with the action. COYS!

Thanks everyone.

Yep Cyril, I've been watching the Spurs every chance I get. It sucks right now though working nights and not being able to watch the games live.

Well, after a wonderful vacation back home and long flights Wed. & Thurs. the wife and I made it home last night. So, of course that means the first thing I did this morning was unpack my new cables and hook them up.

All I can say is.....WOW! I've been a huge believer in WW cables for many years now but these Silver Eclipse 6 Speaker cables are something else.

I played 2 songs for demoing purposes: Fleetwood Mac - Never going back again the live version and Pink Martini - Bolero. The new power cords got hooked up first, replacing the stock ones. Silver Electra on the amp and an Electra on the preamp. Standard improvements commenced when replacing the stock cords. Quieter soundstage, tighter dynamics, etc...

Next the coup de gras happened. The new speaker cables came into the system and slapped me across the face saying, "Why the hell did you wait so long to buy me!" My jaw dropped . I've heard the previous 4 or so versions of the Silver Eclipse speaker wire along with various versions of the older Gold Eclipse but these by far take the cake. Everything in the system changed. Wider deeper sound stage, the guitar on Fleetwood Mac sounded like a freaking guitar not a string on a tin can. During Bolero you could hear every little sound made by the band, it was almost like I was listening to them live again.

After 3+ hours of listening it's still hard to wipe the smile off of my face. If you haven't demoed the newer WW cables, do yourself a favor and DO IT!! It would be nice if every change made to a system made this big of a difference. It looks like 2011 is going to be starting out good and I'll be .

Matt
