Default B&W 802 front cover HiFi+ magazine

A truly beautiful front cover pic of the 802 is featured in a very recent Hi Fi Plus magazine, UK.
Edition 81 (August 2011).

The review was good too. I attach a pic of the front cover.

I have always thought the 800 series of B & W looked cool.

Very nice system. I just hooked up the 601's to my 803d's and they sounded like new speakers. I am still thinking of upgrading to the new 802 Dimonds - must sound great.

I donno... cover looks like it's old magazine from 60's, yellowed pages and all
Awesome looking speakers though, great choice on Rosenut, it's the only way to go I think Of course the signature Bird Eye and Tiger Eye Burl Wood finishes were the best!

I went to a dealer near me yesterday and heard the new B&W 802 D's driven by a Mcintosh MC452, C2300 and MCD301 ; I was very impressed with the sound. If I did not have 2 kids in college I would ordered a pair for my home theater. These speakers sounded way better than the older generation. The bass on these speakers reminded me of the Wilson Sasha's and SF Strads. . The midrange and treble were great as well. Previously the diamond tweeter on the older model was too bright but everything sounded great.

Interesting comments David.
I always found BW speakers too bright for me but if they changed that, I would love to hear them.
