I've basically finished my first dedicated two channel audio room. What would you change about the acoustic panels in my room? This is what I have to work with currently, until I can buy some better acoustic treatment.

Generally looks good, but it's hard to tell relative positioning in the photos due to the angles involved and parallax. It's most important to have a panel on the side walls at the midpoint between the plane of the speakers and your listening seat. Are the fist side wall panels at that midpoint to minimize first (primary) reflection points?

Do you think you have a problem? Something not sounding right?

No no. I've just never had a dedicated room like this, and was just wondering if there is a better way of using the acoustic treatment I've already got.

Congrats on the room! Every room and speaker is different. But I had the same reaction re: placing the speakers deep in the corners. I find the width of my sound stage also links to my toe-in. You might try bringing the speakers closer together, closer to you and then play with the toes. Endless fun! Have you played with RoomEQ? It has been hugely beneficial for me. |

Looks like quite a nice dedicated listening room. Have you tried moving your speakers forward and a little more out from the corners? It is difficult to see the scale of the room. Very neat looking room,

BWLover.....Your room needs diffusion, especially the wall behind your listening seat. You should treat that entire wall with panels to scatter the sound.
