I'm not overly impressed by tidal, but I subscribe to the audiophile version. I will until I find something better.
Tidal's graphical interface is terrible, and forces rap/hip-hop when I load it up on my PC.
However Aurender does a great job on theirs. I would change very little to the Aurender-Tidal interface.

Sadly it seems the Qobuz is not interested in partnering with Roon and are looking to add Roon functionality to their own platform.

It is still the early age of streaming. Some are bound to fail, some will march on. We shall adapt and overcome the turbulence as one thing is certain, streaming IS the FUTURE of music consumption.

While I think you are right; I also fear that this is the case.

Being able to have some form of portable music that isn’t bound to a subscription is the best in my opinion. Granted many label me as more “old school” and I am not even 35 yet [emoji41]
