It looks like I'll need to reorder the Kirmuss and cancel my order with Sound Stage. I don't know what happened to Sound Stage, they used to be a breeze to deal with. I see the The Cable Co. in New Hope carries the Kirmuss. When AmEx refunds all my money, I think I'll give them a call.

Starting to see the price creep up on the Kirmuss so shop around. I just received an email from one dealer selling it at $875 which is a pretty substantial jump.

Check with Charles at Rollo Audio. He was offering a nice discount for Audio Nervosa Members.

I've been seeing that also, thanks. I had gotten Sound Stage down to $695, but if that just a ploy to get your money, I'll shop elsewhere. I think I saw Morrow Audio selling it for $875 also. I'll check out Rollo Audio.

Nice call with the mmf-9.3!! It's a TT that I would not mind owning, especially in that wood veneer. None of those options are on the MH website yet.
I would strongly consider upgrade on the phono stage end now....I am super happy with my Musical Surroundings Nova II, battery powered and highly adjustable to accept pretty much any cartridge.

I have seen others with issues on SoundStageDirect, on other forums. Mainly with LPs not in stock or not shipping at all, I have not ordered any vinyl from them in 2yrs.
Hopefully they can figure it out.....

When does the 9.3 arrive??

Have fun!!

The 9.3 arrived this afternoon and I'm taking my time reading the manual and starting the assembly.

I have my eye on an Audio Alchemy PPA-1 for a phono pre upgrade, any thoughts?

Not familiar with the PPA-1, but will second the Nova II. Amazingly quiet preamp. Same with the Ray Samuels F-117 I'm currently listening to. I do like the 'black' background of battery powered phono preamps.

I had to dispute charges with my CC company with them as well. I placed a $750 order with them back in May and only received $165.00 of my order. Phone call and emails not answered. Chase card is working on it, great that CC companies support their customers.

Well it's been a week with my new TT and I can't say enough and I know it will get better with my Okki Nokki arriving tomorrow and a new phono pre when I save up a bit.

I also can't say enough about Jim at HiFi Heaven. I waited 13 weeks for Sound Stage to deliver and I'd still be waiting if I hadn't canceled the order. With HiFi Heaven I talked to Jim on Saturday, we finalized the deal on Monday and I had the TT at my house on Thursday. With fewer and fewer brick and mortar stores for me to choose from, it's good to know that there are great dealers to do business with online.

Just picked up a maple cutting board to put between the turntable legs and the glass shelf that it was sitting on.
