I am looking at either a pair of MC611 or MC2301. Besides the price difference, I am a little concerned a new MC2301 model might appear shortly. I know the current MC2301 wont sound worse just because a new model arrives but you know...

Just wanted a bit of input. I wouldnt mind "retirering" the MC611's to living room stereo or use for passive subs or whatnot, then get a possible MC2302 or whatever it might be called. I know it might be very hard to answer, but I was hoping for a little insight.

I already have 2 MC462's and a C2600 - bi amping current speakers.

Regards

I think it sad that Mac has not offered a mono version of the MC2152. If they did I believe it would sell very well. Of course it would be a direct competitor with the 2301. As far as the 1.25KW is concerned, I own 3 of them and have been very pleased.
