Default Magico S3?

Enter the magico website and your greeted by a handsome floor stander that looks like an S1 but with two additional woofers. Could it be a Magico S3?? Very logical since it plugs the huge price gap between the S5 and S1.

If anyone needed more proof Audio Aficionado is on the leading edge of high end audio, this is it. A quick search of the web suggests you've scooped it Dafos. I'd say this new model in the S line is destined to be called S3. The front baffle is wider to accommodate what appears to be twin 8" bass drivers, with a commensurate increase in cabinet volume. Yet the speaker still retains the compact dimensions of the S1 & should be the answer for those customers who have a small - medium size room & want more bottom end oomph. Cool!

Good job Magico.

with this S3 Magico complete the S line: with the success from the S speakers Magico dont have other choice: do a "new" speaker in the middle S1 & S5.

Ihmo a speaker that will be in high-much demand/ soon very popular in the high end system.

I rather expect a Q6. A Q6 at 90k would be an interesting concept. What do you guys think?

IMHO Magico needs something like S7 more then new S3. Price point for S3 will be around $20K...

Since S5 is unfortunately little bit too small for my room(but, it do sound pretty good)so, something like S7 would be a nice thing for me. I would pay $60K for something like S7 but, I am not willing to pay $185K for Q7...

But if they create an S7 with performance approximating that of the Q7, that would kill sales of the Q5.

if performance would approximate that of the Q7, it will be at a Q7 price.... there is no miracle unfortunately! Q7 sound is so superior because technology used are different from the rest of the range (and costly)
