Hi Guys, about to buy an upgraded shindo power cord and xlr ic. Can any gurus tell if they are really of shindo origins? Advise needed urgently. Thanks.

I didn't know Shindo offered a power cord upgrade. I thought they only used the normal grey pc.

Don't confuse XLR jacks as always being balanced. Its just a connector. The pre's are single ended stock and can be factory configured balanced output. Its not a balanced circuit, those don't sound as good as SE. The output transformers can be configured balanced or single ended. Some of the older amps were balanced input. None of the new ones are.

Those XLR cables are not Shindo. The power cord is a US Shindo cord.

Jonathan, what's the deal with those power cords. Are those an upgrade from the grays? How? Are they available, MSRP?
