Default Longest listening session

What is the longest you have had your McIntosh system continuously playing music?

McIntosh? I recall listening from 7-8pm till 4 am the first night I spent with brand new 501’s and wished it wasn’t so late so I could keep listening.

I’ve been listening continuously since about 13:30, with a couple very loud sessions. Amp got a little warm and the clipping light flashed a couple times before I turned it back down.

Just curious.

Wow I'm not a marathoner like some of you! It works out best for me to get my main listening in on weekend nights, and I'd been getting up there with 12:00 am to 7:00 am sessions.*But I'm dialing those back a bit since it's so awful transitioning back to a workweek schedule on Monday

Any longer than 7 hours and fatigue sets in for me. 4 hours is a good sweet spot.

8:12am-then past midnight to next day until 10:34pm. Not listening the whole time, but to break in a set of secondary speakers for the Study. Total hours: 38hours 22min Of that I was listening about 5 hours spread over that time.
