P.S. Did I make a typo somewhere? ...And did you watch 'Prometheus'?
Unfortunately not.

I'm trying to get some room treatment in place so the experience is just perfect. Sadly, treatments seem to be the most complicated and confusing aspect of audio.

Also, I'm married, with children.

Thanks for the tip, I've been using Home Theater Store/Modia ever since Tweeter bought out and shut down Home Entertainment; i've been looking for a new dealer.

A big Texas welcome to you Derek, you will enjoy the goings on here on AA. The guys here are really interested in enjoying our hobby and sharing the knowledge plus are just plane good people! Jfray, Ivan mentioned you to me at RMAF as somebody to meet. I'm a native Houstonian transplanted in several moves to the Dallas area (McKinney). I hope to get to catch up with you when home in Houston again. If you find yourself up this way give a shout, love to get together with you.

Hi Derek, I can relate to the "cascade effect" Goddam thing grabbed me by the scruff and wouldn't let go! But after a while, I saw this disease we call audiphilia as friend and and gave him a hale and hearty embrace. If you can't beat em, join em as they say!

Cheers,
David.
ps: there are a lot of pairs of Infinity IRS-V's, Sigma's & Epsilons down your way...mostly owned by conman shonks parading as Doctors or Missionaries, take your pick, but if you see a pair in an ally way with a "for sale" sign on them, give me a shout!
