I'll probably take heat for this opinion but...
I sure wish CJ would ditch the classic champagne color for the black and silver most other manufacturers use. Hifi companies seem to some of the most conservative companies around. I guess they are mostly run by engineers and that explains the lack of attention ascetics get. IMHO CJ gear all looks more dated than it should because of the champagne color. Yes, I'm sure they WANT to look dated. Gives it a classic sophistication and all that, but I think the cons out weigh the pros. The other thing is, unless you go all CJ, your CJ gear doesn't blend in with the rest of your system.
Ultimately appearance is much lower priority than sound, but if you put a CJ pre inside a CLASSE body I'm thinking you'd see a spike in sales.
