I've owned the P5/10x5 combo and it never performed as well as what I'm hearing now. There are some other changes in the system so I have to eliminate them as the reason for the improvement. Best way to do that is side by side in a shoot out.
Art, get a center weight, either Clearaudio or TT Weights. Makes a very audible difference.

Any recommendations for an inexpensive one?

Some of the weights at TT Weights are quite reasonable. I may have to look into that.

You just stepped a long way up! The Concept is a killer table for the money and steps on most of it's competition. Presently sold out the distributor...more coming though. Anyone thinking of buying a P5 should reconsider. The Concept is a good deal better.

Do "not" use a weight on the Concept TT. It uses a delrin thrust plate (plastic)
in the bearing well. It cannot handle the weight. It will eventually wear. I contacted the distributor when I got mine and he said to use on of Clearaudio's clamps. I forget the name of the one he mentioned but it is $ 100.00. They used that one at CES this year.........
