Will put some pictures up when I get a minute... need to figure out how to upload to the site here in Ivanville. In the meantime you can see them at the top of this in my ID pix. For those with concerns, they are a good bit farther into the room now

But, in the meantime I have a new power amplifier coming tomorrow to drive the Yvette's. Conrad-Johnson's just released ART 150 arrives to potentially replace my beloved c-j LP140 monos. If what's I hear is correct, it will be an exciting day down here in Sarasota. More to come on that also.

Bob

I find my Yvettes in Ipanema Brown very handsome and they aesthetically fit in very well with my listening area. Visitors quickly notice and comment favorably on their excellent workmanship and beautiful finish. And, that's before they get a chance to listen to them.

Bob

Do they look like this Ipanema brown? Definitely NOT a McD's trash can.

Thanks Mike. It was a 100 lb. beast coming in the front door to wrestle out of the double boxing with plywood inserts; almost palleted, onto it's amp stand and set up. It sounds magnificent and isn't even broken in... full of teflon caps to form out. Unbelievable imaging and detail. The quietest tube amp I've ever experienced. Dead silent from the CD player. Amazing.

Bob - I’m sure it was well worth the work. I will be setting my Alexias next weekend in my new home in Sarasota. I have been without a system for the last 9 months as we moved to FL and waited for our new home to be finished.

Ritmo,

Great news... another HiFi person here in town.

We are in Misty Creek off Bee Ridge Ext extension, close to Clark Rd. About three miles east of I-75.

Where are you folks located in Sarasota and who's setting up you Alexa's? We've been down here almost four years and I'm still dealing with my Maryland Wilson dealer. They came down to set them up.

My wife walked by my Yvettes and said, "Hi girl". I was taken back because I was sitting there thinking these are bad A$$ speakers, and she calls the girl?

I asked her why she called the girl. She said, that the shape of the speakers had a woman's figure.

No trash can reference from my lovely wife. Even my daughter, who loves to tease me didn't come up with the trash can reference. She just said black would have been a better color.
