BlackNoise Power Distributors are energy distributors (4, 6, 8 outlets). Internally the outlets are connected differently than the largest majority of similar devices: star mode instead of serial wiring.

Exist also the BlackNoise Main Filters. Do you see the review on the SixMoons.

I wasn't sure where to ask this, but does anyone here have experience with Wireworld's Stratus 5 power cable? I'm thinking about them as a potential replacement for the stock cords that came with my new amps.

Yes, I move alot of them along with their other cable products. Their best bang for the buck PC is the Aurora.

I can't find any gauge information on Wireworld's site (or anywhere else so far). What AWG are these cables?

Good. Because Charlie at McIntosh told me it didn't matter what I used, as long as it was at least 14AWG. The Pangeas I ordered are going back because I need something more flexible and less obtrusive given my setup. I'm sure the AC-9s are good, but not fully practical for me. Great price, though.

So I can either stick with the stock cords or get the PS Audio Jewel, Pangea AC-14, order something simple from SPDS, or now, perhaps a Wireworld. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, money IS an object, so my price range is small.

The WW Stratus are a nice upgrade from a stock power cord. I have to agree with Ivan though, the Aurora is one of the best bang-for-the-buck power cords available. Retail I think is still $190ish for 2m....you'll want atleast 2m.

I need a 3M, unfortunately, if I want to run it direct to the plug rather than chain it via power strip or extension (as I'm doing with the stock cord). The other cord can be 1M, but in case things change with my setup a 2M makes more sense. Maybe get two 2Ms and go ahead and chain the right one? Cost is an issue after spending all that money for the 501s, the MD-90, etc.
