Thanks folks. Happy New Year.

@Myles, much of that gear was acquired here in Korea or in Asia. Some of it I did by in the US and either brought it over with me or had it shipped. My speakers came from the US and I bought them used.

Yes, I do get to hear a lot of Korean manufactured gear here. I've had nice visits with Simon Lee of April Music. We have some very good newer audio companies here like Emille and Tone Audio. I visit the audio shows here every year and truly enjoy myself. I'll post some photos of the Seoul A/V show of 2012 very soon. Cheers.

Cool!

Would love to hear more about the audio scene in S. Korea and Asia!

Thank you, Dan.

Myles, here's a head start on what's been going on with Korean manufacturing. You already probably know about April Music's fine operation: April Music

You can view the site of Emille though it's mostly in Korean. I'd recommend using Chrome for the translation program built in. Very convenient: Emille - Tube Amplifier

Tone Audio has come out with a fine integrated amp series: Tone Inc.

Sonic Slab is producing a variety of room treatments and amp stands: ¼Ò´Ð½º·¦

Powertek is doing fine work in automatic voltage regulation and conversion: ¿Àµð¿À¼±µÎ º¥Ãıâ¾÷ ÆÄ¿öÅÃ!

These are just a few off the top of my head.

Bill
