Enjoy your new 2.5s! I picked up a pair of 1.5s earlier this week and currently have about 40 hours on them. Very impressed with how they sound on the end of my McIntosh MA6300. Smooth and involving.

What speakers were you running before these and how do the compare? I know break-in us still needed but I'd like to hear about the comparison none the less.

I had sonus faber toy tower and I compared with sonus faber liuto(that i was going to buy).
Anyway...I bought Venere instead of liuto because:
1- better form my room(because bass frequences)
2- maybe a little more clear
3- I love the shape
4- I don't need to change the amp(more powerful one)

In one word: Venere is perfect for my room.

Congrats. Those are very nice speakers and with an unbeatable price.

Have you compared them to the Cremona ? I wonder how they perform.

Welcome to the SF club but beware it's a slippery slope

Thank you antipop.
Unfortunately I did not compared to Cremona.
A couple of months ago I listened to Cremona auditor M...I liked them a lot.

I do like the sound so far...it should be better in 50/60 (or more)hours.
Fabio.......Looking good. I feel fairly certain that 200 hours or more will be required to get the speakers fully broken in. Good to know they are sounding decent right out of the box, but I expect them to continue to improve, perhaps as much as 300 hours.

Thank you Dan.
They do sound decent right out of the box and I'm sure they can do better...Italians do it better.
