HI Folks,
Will post comments on our Bryston Demo of the new T-REX speakers. james |

All I saw attending the show was middle aged men, just like me!
Some of the mega systems were poorly setup, and muddy or boomy. I was surprised at how damn good the big Bryston sounded though. Tommyboy Last edited by James Tanner - Bryston; 10-20-2018 at 06:47 AM. |

Ah, stacked or double Advents! I wonder what my old system would sound like if I could compare it to what I have today. Too bad, there isn't some sort of "time machine" that would allow us to compare the various iterations of our systems as they evolved over time. Hopefully, the improvements in technology and our audio budgets result in a vastly superior sound! Hi Pundamilla Ah yes - you take me back - I also owned the stacked Advents :thumb: We did not know it then but there are a lot of advantages to this kind of speaker array. 1. First you are moving a lot of air at very low distortion which results in real world dynamics. 2. Because you have woofers at both the top and bottom of the speaker array you are loading the bass frequencies into the room at 4 different pressure points. This really works well at smoothing the bass response throughout the listening room. 3. With a multi-driver array like this the ability to fill the room with sound is effortless and you can walk very close to the speaker or move far away and you will notice very little difference in sound pressure level. 4. Folks the speakers literally disappear and you just have this huge wall of sound (with good imaging and depth) in front of you. james |

Great sound James.
Sorry I couldn't stop and say hello, too many people in your room. Yours was a very popular room by the looks of it. Well deserved too. Dan Santoni Custom Manufacturer of Blackdog HiFi. |

Attended the show in Toronto, sound was awesome. Although not played very loud, those were active speakers. Each driver is powered by an independent amplifier channel-tweeter,midrange & woofer. |

Heard this system at the Toronto Audiofest this weekend past, excellent sounding room that Bryston had. Good to see and meet the people I have only heard about in the media from Bryston. Like Harold said in this string "Some day" I will own Bryston speakers and amplifiers. |
