These speakers sounded as big as they look!

A lot of time was spent in the YG room, and understandably so. Great soundstage and imaging, big dynamics.

Salk SS 9.5. Sounded great to me, with nice soundstage, clarity, imaging. Tremendous bass weight and extension on classical piece they were playing. Nice value.

The Prana Fidelity room was perhaps my favorite of the whole show. This system just sounded so great on every track played. These were successful in achieving the ever so difficult task of being detailed without being harsh. Incredible attack, clarity, definition, bass quality. I just wanted to keep listening.

Paradigm/Anthem room. These speakers soundstage and image like champs. Also, the subwoofer integration was very, very good, imo. There was no boominess or "woolliness" to the sound. I think they may be the most clear sounding speakers I've heard. The only fly in the ointment is that with any over brightness in a recording, these speakers will let you know that in a hurry.

The McIntosh speakers sounded decent, but just didn't seem to sound nearly as good as at last year's RMAF. Perhaps it was the room, to some extent.

Unlike a number of others, I thought the PS Audio speakers sounded fairly, good, and with lots of potential.

Mark and Tony are doing an awesome job so far with the pictures....I've been a little behind so I'll add the pics I took from Friday afternoon. I got a late start spending too much time at the pool!

Here's Ed and Rob checking in......for some reason the check in /registration area was wayyyyy down the convention hall away from most of the show....guess that's just how the Gaylord Center does it I suppose.

One of the first rooms was the Focal/EMM Labs room...I think it sounded pretty good but we really didn't spend too much time here, I'd like to go back on Sunday and revisit this one. I really like the EMM Labs DAC and streamer, but it's expensive.
