Their new amplifier, with or without DAC.
We listened to it, with the HD-700 and HD-800.
I think they have a winner there!

Into a room full of surprises: Leedh and Neodio.
2 French brands I didn't know before.
Neodio makes some expensive electronics (CD player of 35000€) but has some reasonable amps in their collection.
Leedh makes strange speakers... that sounded great!
Acoustic music sounded really good.
But they didn't play music with deep bass, so I can't comment on low end performance.
And I doubt it could come from such small enclosures...

Quickly in and out the Antelope room:

JoSound has some really special products: handmade bamboo speakers.
A single driver only, and still 30->20000Hz claimed.
The engineer wasn't happy with the sound from existing speakers so he made a couple for himself.
Some friends heard the speakers and said: "you should sell speakers!".
And so he does, since end of 2011.
Very lifelike sound.
Really nice presentation of instruments and yes, deep bass was present!
I heard some vibrations, could be the room, but my impression was that the enclosures were to blame.
I'll evaluate next year, as he is still improving his speakers.
And he's working on a new kind of source too.











A tube amp of only 2x8W was driving these very sensitive speakers.







We didn't hear the turntable, we only got sound from the little black mysterious thing (his new project) on top of the DP-777.

One of my top 5 systems now: Isophon-Vitus Audio-Fono Acustica (cables).

B&W - Rotel





The room was extremely well treated.
The B&W sounded reasonably good.

This comes also in my top 5: TAD







Their best electronics were driving the CR-1s. Sorry, also in this room it was very dark.







I've heard TAD quite a few times now.
It has always sounded good.
The sweet spot is not small either.
