ARC is rapid fire with new pieces an upgrades, seems a little excessive.

By all accounts, ARC was caught by surprise by the demand for the Reference Anniversary, so they must have decided to re-introduce a preamplifier with separate power supply in their regular product line. According to my dealer, price is expected to be in the 25K-30K range and there is no reason for owners of the Reference Anniversary to rush to upgrade.

What surprises me is that ARC seems to be moving away once again from the styling of their current generation of products with the asymmetric faceplate.

Hmm, this is what I am expecting, but ARC keep telling me that it will not happen.
Long ago I discussed on the phone with them asking are they going to make more of the Anniversary in the different name, like Ref9 or something. He replied we will not gonna do that, we will not betray our Anniversary customers like that. But Even Ferrari produced F40 in far more number than first announced too. But Anyway, This is really interesting product. My only complaint is that the main displays of current ARC pre amps don't match in design with the company's power amps displays. Only Ref3 and Ref 210 are matched. They go retro with analog meters dimly lit by white LED on power amps, but pre amps has green or color dot matrix displays.
