Default Doxa

Some here may be familiar with DOXA watches and some not so much. I've had then on and off over the years and just received on of their more recent models today, a Sub 5000T. The fit and finish is pretty good and the movement Swiss ETA2892. Case is just a bit over 47MM but despite its size and heft its pretty comfortable on the wrist. This will be my new "tool" watch for beach and water sport days.

I've had a few in the past, Dirk Pitt 750, PVD 750, and finally a yellow dial 750GMT. The 5000 is a bit different, clasp with a really neat ratcheting divers extension that could also be used on hot days if you wrist swells and the watch becomes uncomfortable. The case also has a much higher profile on the wrist, not a good or bad thing, just different. I'm sporting mine today after adding a few links to the bracelet last night.

A little better wrist shot of the 5000.
