Guys,

Well, I have placed the order. Don't have a delivery date yet but should be several weeks.

Mike.......Wow. The Ref 5 SE is top of the line Audio Research. Congratulations. Now get ready for the proverbial long break-in period it is well known for.

Cyril, Dan and Randy -

Thanks a lot guys. It took me 9 months to get to 400 hrs on my LS27. It will be one heck of a journey getting the Ref to 600!

BTW, I ordered it black on black to match my DAC8 and DS450.

Mike

Mike...I would put the DAC 8 on repeat and run a signal through the Ref 5SE for the first few hundred hours at least to cut the break-in time in half

Mike, I hereby volunteer to undertake the burden of breaking it in for you. I will even go 1,000 hours, just to make sure.
