I built a DIY cleaner VPI knock off, and DIY cleaning solution. If I have a stubborn LP I use a portable steam cleaner.

Brush and liquid here. The few albums that make it thru that process with some light stains, a little steam cleaning resolves that.

KAB EV-1 and one-step fluid. This thing is a stone cold bargain compared to similar machines that have an internal vacuum and perform a lot of the work for you. Besides, I already had an Oreck canister vac. I buy most of my vinyl used at record shows and shops, and this thing cleans them up really nicely.

For a while now I'm using the famous Knosti machine:
Spinning it with an electric screwdriver. That's good enough for now but I'd rather use a professional RCM. Cheers Joerg |
