Default Suggested output level for the MCD600

Braintrust,

In an ongoing effort to tweak my two channel setup, curious as to thoughts surrounding suggested output level for my MCD600 that is connected via XLR/balanced cables to a MA9000 integrated. Currently I have the MCD600's output level set to 75 - not sure if this is too/low, or right where it should be.

Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Craig

I believe the output level is there in case the MCD was hooked up directly to an amp (no preamp). That could be used as a ‘volume’ control. If you have a preamp I see no harm with output set to 100% (but, if attached to a preamp with output cables that may override the ability to use the output level).

It shouldn't matter if you're using the fixed outputs.

Ah yes, of course...I was inadvertently using the variable outputs. Thanks!
