I heard that Ken Shindo unfortunately passed away recently, did it effect Shindo as a brand in any way? Are the prices on Shindo climbing?

I do not think so Serge. His son continues the business with his mother. Some references are now discontinued. Like the fabulous Montrachet and my amps, the CCQs.

I am envy but had to stop the itch as I am going vintage. Reverse cycle ...

You are right my friend ! I pathologically amassed !
But I am also going vintage.
For example, my TT has only a few years, but it is made exactly like first one 30 years ago. And the 2 carts I am using on it, the SPU and the EMT XSD15 are almost the same as the ones made 50 years ago.
The Altec drivers in my main system are more than 50 years old ! In the main system, you can also find the MR77 and the MC225.
I have a Mac 1500 in my bedroom and a MA5100 in my office.
And my Halgorythme amp is full of Nos tubes.

Where is the description of your vintage gear ? I missed that. Thanks !
