I would love to see the rider on your home insurance policy, at least I hope you have one. I suppose some purchases are considered business expenses.

First let me say yes it was a great Christmas and I'm very lucky indeed. The krell processor has been excellent. As you can see from the photos I wanted my system to be jet black or as I like to call it stealth lol The krell processor really can do absolutely everything under the sun. The setup menu for the krell processor was a breeze to use. I'm running my PS3,Oppo BDP-95, and sat receiver through it at this time. PS3 and directv audio/video using wire world HDMI. The Oppo I'm using HDMI for the video but RCA's for analog audio. I've noticed much better video/audio over the old Marantz I was using.

Another interesting note is how cool the process runs. Even after I've had it and the krell amp(which are right next to each other) on for hours it's not even warm. The processor is extremely well constructed. As I like to say, built like a tank! Even the remote was like holding a brick. I can't say enough how well made all of my krell gear is! Performance wise I have zero complaints. The krell with the Evo's makes beautiful music As they continue to break in the sound to me just keeps getting better. What else can I say, Santa was good to me this year

But.... don't you think the Micky Mantle worth just as much or more? You can't do much other than put in a case for display, but what a treasure. That gift is what impressed me!

On the other hand, I wouldn't sneeze at the Krell! Congratulations! Nice Papa.

The Mickey Mantle autographed baseball is amazing! It is in a locked display case with a few other autographed baseballs. Mickey is the center focal point of the display case. The ball itself is in excellent condition as well as the signature, which as any collector knows, is of the utmost importance. Well besides being authentic lol

Richard,

How would you rate the 2 channel performance of the Krell processor?

Happy for you Richard - you must have been a very good boy all year. You have a setup the majority of us would love to have. Now, get yourself a TT.

Sorry for the delay in my response, things have been a little hectic "behind the scenes" here on AA. The 2 channel performance of the Krell is outstanding. Even though my system is mostly used for home theater( 5 channel), I've found myself just listening to 2 channel music often. The processor's interface is just so intuitive and easy to use that it's a pleasure to switch "audio modes". The processor is so good in fact, that sometimes I forget to switch back to multichannel. I would swear my center, etc was on when it was really just the left and right channels. It really places a excellent sound stage combined with the Evo's. I have zero complaints, it really does everything there is. I know the new fad is the room perfect but the Krell processor doesn't need it. Just set your speaker distances to listening position, db level, and make sure you have proper speaker placement(thanks Bill ). Then just sit back and enjoy the music

I try to be a good guy and sometimes it pay off I don't see myself getting a TT. If anything else it would probably be Krell's KID iPod system. I had a chance to briefly here it on the sonus faber futura's and the sound was really, really good coming from a iPod. That's a really amazing product
