Default C2500 Question

I'm attempting to use an optical cable from the coax output of my Oppo to the c2500 input. My question is how do I get to that source on the c2500?

When I use the D/A source it says USB-D/A which is what I use from my Mac-Mini to c2500.

Thanks

Not familiar with the C2500 but I will take a guess and say it is most likely in the setup mode. Choose coax dig as the source

It appears to be your settings.

Depress "Tone By Pass" until you the see the name and your firmware version,

Use the "output 2" button to go through your settings

Use the "volume knob" to change setting and inputs

Depress "tone bypass" to get you back to the normal display screen

Hope this helps

You need to reassign your C2500 preamp source input to the digital input you plug your coax digital cable from the Oppo into. As an example, if you plugged the coax digital cable into DIGITAL 3 on the C2500 preamp, and you wanted to reassign your AUX source input to use DIGITAL 3, you would do so using the buttons and knobs on the preamp (not the remote) as follows: Turn on preamp and press and hold the Tone Bypass/Setup button to enter Setup mode Press Output 2/Menu button repeatedly until Setup:Source input appears on the preamp display . Rotate the Input knob on the preamp until AUX appears on the display. It will most likely show RCA as the input. To change it to DIGITAL 3, rotate the Volume knob on the preamp until DIGITAL 3 appears on the display. Press Tone/Bypass button to exit Setup. You should now be able to get sound from the Oppo simply by selecting AUX as your input source.
