Welcome and yes McIntosh can be expensive but one of the highest re-sell values in audio.
Few companies can say they been around since 1949.

Welcome aboard, the water is great. I bought my first Mc piece from a dentist, although not really a doctor (The Hangover). It was a C2200. Mr Gow at Audio Classics suggested that piece since it was his favorite.
