I've had one for about six months now. A Mofi replacement sleeve tells me that the record has been cleaned. Roughly half of 1,500 albums cleaned so far. Works as advertised and highly recommended!

Just received mine this morning, set up is utterly painless ...... and as for it's performance, it's nothing short of miraculous. The very first LP I bought was Blondie's Parallel Lines, bought on release in 1978 & which I've played on everything from a jumble sale bought "Suitcase" to my current set up, it's survived 2 flooded flats, countless moves......listening to it now, it could be a brand new pressing, a faint crackle on the run in grooves is all the evidence of it's age it's showing!!

For reference, I've had the ClearAudio Double Matrix for a good few years & this shows it the door in every respect, it's quieter, easier & much more effecient at it's job

Off to scour a few charity shops......

Matt.......I am happy for you. The Audio Desk Systeme is recognized as one of the best record cleaners in the world. The automated aspect of its operation puts manual RCM's to shame.

Dan, thanks! I first saw a review of it maybe 10 years ago now, but in it's early days apparently wasn't 100% reliable, and was also very hard to come by in the UK. However the issues have been resolved & one of my favourite UK dealers is carrying them. Only my credit card is unhappy

After listening to a good few cleaned LP's now, I'd honestly say buy either this or the US alternative ahead of either a cartridge or indeed a TT upgrade, it's that good!

I have the AD for 3 months now. It was much more expensive than my previous VPI, but still I think I should have acquired it earlier.

Ive had my Audio Desk about 18 months. No issues or replacements so far. I would not use a cleaner if it were not for this unit. (or the KLAudio) I consider it my best analog investment to date. I have an Lyra Etna on order that might supplant that, but anything it gets played with the Etna will be still be cleaned in the AD first!

It's too easy not to use, and once you use it, it's too good to quit.

I have had the Audio Desk for about 9 months now. While it does a great job on heavier records I find that some hand drying is required for older, thin records. There seems to be a bunch of water droplets left on the record after the process has been completed.

Does anyone else have this issue or is this a problem with my unit?

That is great. I bought one also and it made a huge difference in sound and convenience. I listen more, and a lot cleaner too.
