Every 150-250 records. Depending on how dirty your records are.

The water evaporates so some additional filling is necessary.

I rest a plastic sleeve with a book on top of the opening.

When you don't think it is not working any more: varies according to the state of the records and how many cycles you put them through.

I found that every 100 albums is good for me. I buy mostly good clean used records, but when draining the fluid I decided to tilt and shake the body as the liquid was drai into the sink... Wow, the sludge particles

Pressed SEND by accident. Anyway, the amount of dark slime that came out when I shook the unit as it was draining was significant! Now I shake the machine every time I clean it after 100 LPs.

Opinion: bad idea to seal the top opening with anything other than the breathable polyester fabric cover to prevent evaporation. With all the organic matter we clean off the LPs, you could end up with mold throughout the system. I'm just saying...

when i start with 4 or 4.5 litres of water i think i get to about 130 lps before the low water red light goes on. how do users get to 200 lps without adding a lot of water refills that delute the soap?
