The truth is that if you clean mostly "clean" LP's like I do - the only thing you really have to go on are the written guidelines from the manufacturer. The water does not lood "dirty". For example, they state that you should clean the foam filter often even if you don't see impurities since they may not be readily visible. Based on this I would rather clean the fluid more often (100 LP's). The liquid is cheap and it is really easy to change. My 2 cents.
