So, the top platter is levitating ? That is an idea first invented by Mr Verdier on his "platine". An other great way to do it .
This is for sure the best isolation possible.

Jérôme,
I think it is levitating in the sense that the bearing assembly the steel subplatter sits on is magnetically levitating. I think the top platter is turned by magnetic attraction by the bottom one, if my guess is correct.
