Default Listening Session in Seattle Area

I really enjoyed hosting this event. Was great to get nine locals together who share an interest in music. Was able to share music and equipment journeys and I was able to spend some time getting to know each of the group. The room was able to absorb the full group and people took turns swapping seats as we played tracks from the groups favorites. Some of the artists we listened to included; Beatles, Kimbra, Angus and Julia Stone, Stevie Ray, Grant Green, Jethro Tull, Police, Ella & Louis, Patricia Barber, Frankie Laine, Jakob Dylan and others. We played a mixture of CD, LP and digital files. The vinyl playback sounded great and while I have moved to more digital playback....I plan to spend my day off today rediscovering my vinyl collection. Again was really great to meet new friends who share my interest in music and I hope we get to reconnect again. Also thanks to the group who braved the colder weather here in PNW and were forced to climb a few sets of stairs to get to the music room. Great to meet you all.

Tracy it was great meeting you. I assume you were able to make it up the "hill" to get home....or maybe you typed this from your car. Best

I'm definitely open to having people come to my humble abode, just not sure who'll want to take the trek [emoji38]

No doubt we braved the cold, offset by the warmth of Allen and his hospitality. Turns out we are closer then thought previous. Truly a great evening, and maybe the formation of AA Seattle.

Great group of guys!

You know your an audiophile when you meet new people and instead of showing photos of your families, your priority is showing your system along with photos [emoji851]

Thanks again for taking the initial step, and I look forward to meeting again!

Sounds like a great evening. Really sorry I was not able to make it as I got called into a work dinner....I keep telling myself work is over rated, I just need to figure out how to act on that Not sure my mortgage company will buy in though....

Glad everyone had a great time and sound slike there were no snow/ice issues getting there.

Cheers everyone!
