Yes - of course it will "work fine", but an impedance of 200 and 40 is not "ideal".

Say - do. the bigger McIntosh Pres have better/different Phonostages or are they all equal? Never gave that a thought - would be interesting to know though...

The only stage that might be an alternative - the Audia Flight as recommended here - I haven't had a chance to listen to yet... so I might postpone the purchase till I've heard that one...

Has anyone compared Simaudio Moon 610LP or 810LP to Mcintosh C52 phono stage or MP1100? What is the difference?
