Default PBS American Masters, "Birth of the Cool"

I just finished watched PBS American Masters, "Birth of the Cool." Anybody who is a Miles Davis junkie, (that would be me) or anyone else that is interested in learning how the jazz scene changed from the early 50's to the present would enjoy this.

I would give this my highest recommendation. Here's a YouTube link to the trailer:

Thanks. I've been known to like the odd tune.

Excellent....... thanks for pointing out. There was only one Miles Davis. For me, he defines jazz.

I was in high school. 11th grade and came home with this record one day. I put on side one, track one, "So What."

It was so good it actually pissed me off. I remember thinking, "I hate it when they put the best song on the album first!"

Boy, was I surprised!
