Default 911 and speaker pairings

I have been trying to do some research on what speakers people have been pairing with their 911's, outside of burmester speakers. So for I keep finding TAD and SF being the most common? I would probabley do a speaker upgrade before doing my burmester preamp upgrade as the next step.

I did see the Tonepub enjoyed the burmester with 802d in there article.

Pooya, if you want to stay with KEF, the new Reference series gets very good reviews.
I drive my Vivids with Burmester, and it sounds very good.
And indeed, Sonus Faber is used frequently with Burmester owners here on AA.

Go with Burmester B80 MkII or the latest BA71. Perfect matching and excellent sound. With other speakers brand, Avalon, Focal, Magico and Nola are also good matchings.

Hi, I have a stereo pair of 911 mk3 driving the Rockport Avior and the combination is superb. I moved up from the burmester b50, if that helps.

Cheers

Magic match with my Vivid K's. If you love bass quality, speed, clarity, superb soundstage, and a silky clear grain-free balance.

I suspect a pair of mono 911's with the Giya 1 or 2's will be out of this world
