Totally agree. The CS300 is a great little amp, one of my favourites.

I don't I made myself very clear. I'm not looking to replace the 300XS. I was thinking of changing from Shindo to Leben in my main system. My 300 is a permanent resident in my family room with my Devore Super 8's. That combo is perfect for the room size and casual listening duties.

Why are you thinking of changing to Leben?

I will be interested to see how you progress. I'm thinking of doing the same.

Maybe try the Leben CS600? I'm using the CS600 with Devore Nines and love that combination, maybe it will work well with your LaScallas. The other thing I'd point out is that it's easy to tweak the sound of the CS600 with tubes. I've rolled at least 5 different sets of tubes before landing on some NOS EL34's which really make the Leben shine.

It's funny you mentioned this because for the same reason I'm wondering what the Shindo gear would sound like with the Devores. As much as I love the Leben, a man is still curious.

Another amp that really made the Devore's sing was the new ARC integrated amplifier. Who knows? Maybe even better with a Ref. 75?
