Jeff.......What a fabulous sound system. I can well imagine how fine those Tannoy Westminster Royal GR's sound with the McIntosh MC2301 power amplifiers and the latest tube preamp and DAC. You have assembled a world class sound system. I would love to see a photo of your system.

Dan, like many here I've read your wonderful review and comments 100 times. Each time I read I want the 2301s even more.

I am in pursuit of these amps and hopefully this journey will end with the MC2301s in my system!

The Martin Logan CLX electrostatics truly shine with midrange and voices so I simply can't wait to hear the magic that these tubes will bring. Paired with the awesome C1100 preamp...

Could truly be EPIC

Tim.......I am confident you will be thrilled with a pair of MC2301's. My 2301's in the studio system replaced a pair of MC601's. I never looked back and don't miss the 601's at all.

Hi Dan...

This is a little premature BUT I have secured a deal with a good friend to sell my 601's. Might be end of the year or early next year which is good for both of us! So it really does look like a reality that the legendary MC2301's will be in Timobi's home in the not too distant future.

Super excited. I have loved the 601's and will continue to enjoy them until their next home.

Dan your review and other posts as well as other members comments and PM's made this an easy decision for me. Thank you! Just had to figure out the $$

Tim, I didn't think it was possible since I loved my 601's so much in my system but I am overjoyed that I switched to the 2301's.

Tim.......Congratulations are in order, even if it is a bit early. I am so happy for you. I know you've wanted a pair of MC2301's for quite awhile. These amplifiers will breathe fresh life into your Martin Logan's. I'll keep an eye out for your impressions once the MC2301's are in your system.

Congrats! I have not had the 601s, but did have the MC303, and the Parasound JC-1s, among others on demo, and the 2301s will be with me for a very, very long time. I think you would be hard pressed to find a more emotional involving set of amps!
