Kev, how sensitive [or forgiving] are the 604's regarding speaker placement? Do they work well fairly close to a back wall or in a corner placement scenario?

Kev you going to show us some photos? Hey, what are the dimension of the box that ken builds. I am curious how different the box is from the altec 620 box.

I'll get some photos eventually. No offense, but I'll never be posting dimensions. After making a considerable investment in these, I have no interest in giving free proprietary info to the counterfeit crowd. I'm not accusing you of that, but there is an active cult of Shindo copiers, and they stop on by this place from time to time. And every Time a guy copies the dimensions, port placement, internal construction, and crossovers from a Shindo speaker, the value of my investment does down.

You have to view stereos as consumption, not investment!
I think external dimensions are harmless. Those are available from dealers. It's the cross overs that they view as their secret sauce. |

Still I am curious about the size of the shindo cabinet? Any idea if they will sell just the crossovers? I guess that would be a good question for Jonathan.

Well, yes, I don't approach this as if they will appreciate. I'm simply referring to limiting the capacity for depreciation.
