As pictured.

SIG P-230 is a great carry piece.

Very smooth, no rough edges.

Just the right size.

I was just kidding about the Walther. Not that there is anything wrong with it but I used to carry a Springfield compact in a .45. The way I see it, if God Forbid there is a situation where you just have no other alternative but to squeeze the trigger in self defense, it may as well be a round with ballistics to put the perp down and not have to use multiple shots. There have been many arguments back and forth on ballistics and stopping power but I see it the way I see it. It's either going to be effective or it opens a whole different can of worms.

The FN Five-seveN® single-action autoloading pistol fires the low-recoil 5.7x28mm cartridge making it ideal for personal protection, target shooting or NRA Tactical Police Competition.

good choice in a D/A for sure

Will likely pick up an S&W Airlite in .22mag to compare.
not sure how a rim fire is going to compare to a .357 mag, other than poorly !

This Browning BDA 380 gets a lot of carry time. With Federal hollow points, this is one of my favorite CCW's. This one gets the most range time, too. Fun to shoot and easy to pack.

Yes...... not the same ball-park. However, for a 12oz gun to toss in ones pocket it is very convenient. From what I've been reading, Federal and others are coming out with some pretty potent .22mag self defense rounds of late. Certainly better than nothing if the need arises.

My brother has been carrying a 380 Beretta that they haven't made in 50 years. Shoots like it is new and the most comfortable 380 I've shot to-date. Think I'm going to have to check out that Browning.
