There is a dealer in Baltimore that seems like a real nice guy, and runs his store limited hours and appointments. His attitude was very positive but not pushy when I was looking for MG3.6r's. Then I got and modded my MGIIIa's and the search for MG3.6's went on hold.

Jim

Hi, new to the forum. I was first exposed to Magneplanars in 1974 when I heard tri-amped TIIIs. They were so far and away better than anything else I had heard up to that point. It wasn't long after I purchased MG-IIs. My next revelation was hearing Dayton-Wright electrostats at a reviewer friend's house a couple of years later. That sealed my fate for a love of stats.

I used a range of Acoustats for nearly thirty years until settling with a pair of Sound Lab U-1s. I'm pretty sure I've found my last speaker.

Reliability is very very important to me, 28 years 5 different pairs of Acoustat's NEVER had a problem i have heard Soundlabs they are very good - they are very expensive - they are not as reliable as Acoustat's - again dollar for dollar Acoustat's are very hard to beat.
