Hi Daniel, ask Angie to loan you some Kubala Elations...they match extremely well with my Elipsa.

What gave it away? Was "Toronto" + "she" enough? Or the allusion to a dealer with rather firmly held convictions

No way! I just moved a pile of silver disks out, I'm not moving any large round black things in. Besides, I'm better with computers than LP players.

Yeah, I'm glad everybody here thinks so. Earlier this year, I was having my place painted, and a friend of mine recommended this "color consultant". So I booked a session, and she came over, and she looked at the Amatis, and said that they were big cylinders of absolutely no aesthetic interest, architectural or otherwise, and I would have to paint the wall behind them a dark color to draw attention away from them ...

Daniel.......Color consultant? She is feebleminded at best. Hope you paid her exactly what the advice was worth, zero.

She & audio was enough. I visited her shop a few years ago and was treated very well with some fantastic demos.

What kind of fantastic demo and treated very well mean here

Yes, I am thinking hard ...

BUT seriously, your speakers are simply beautiful. Maybe I should get a pair ...

Well, all of the equipment in the photo, except for the computer and the Int202, is from Angie, and the delivery and setup by one of her guys.

I came across her store about a year ago when I was looking for a system in the 10-15 thousand range, I had done some research and had a list of components in mind, I emailed her the list and she came back with a quote at the low end of the range (including cable.) So I dropped by the store, she happened to be in, and she gave me a demo. Then I innocently asked, what's in that other room ...
