Ordered the Schiit Audio Yggdrasil DAC

I would also like to report that the customer support at Schiit Audio is first rate. My emails, and there were several, were all answered in a friendly and timely manner. Changing my Yggdrasil to a silver one presented no problems and was handled efficiently. A big thumbs up to the good folks at Schiit Audio.

I am more than impressed with the customer support provided me by Laura Z at Schiit Audio. A perfect example is the email correspondence we had last night. There is a three hour time difference from my Florida location and their California location. My initial email to Laura asking to change my Yggy from black to silver was at 9:56 PM my time. I didn't expect a response until this morning but in just over 30 minutes Laura emailed me back to let me know my request had been taken care of. Then late last night at 12:50 AM my time I decided to email Laura again, thinking she would see the email this morning. To my utter surprise she responded back at 1:13 AM my time. In my book that is exceptional customer service. Kudos to Schiit Audio's team.

I too would like to hear your detailed performance impression. I also came close to black finish purchase. The there was a used silver as auction site buy it now for 1750 i watched go to some one else. We’ll see how much longer I am a hold out. Mike’s Mani design Came last night. It is simple but astounding even wth my old TT. I can see how this Yggy can disappoint unless your ears think detail equates to over analytical sound. I like picking out detail and nuances that are previously obscure.
