Congrats !
That is for sure one of the great force of the Wilsons : they can really disappear when properly set up. Enjoy them in great health ! Could we see a pic ?

I would also love to see a photo of your set-up... I would love to add your system to Wilson Audio's Owner's page on Facebook (Wilson Audio Owner's Systems | Facebook ), and maybe also on Wilson Audio's site ( Wilson Audio: Installations: Personal ) Also, with them being series 6's, I am still on my quest to find a pair of Wilson's I personally put together in production. I was a "Puppy builder" for several years starting with the series 5's, all of 6's, and the first part of the 7's. I built the most Puppy's, but I have built several other models (in the mid to late 1990's and early 2000's I could build all products in production - Cubs, WITT's, Maxx's, X-1's, etc.) It's one thing to build the product, crate it up, and a truck picks it up and you don't see it again - it's another to see your work in someone's home! I have looked up a handful of owners speakers from this site and FB (time frame/series # has to fit into the time I was working in Production), but none so far were built by me . Since yours are series 6's, I would love to see if I built them Feel free to send the SN's of BOTH the WATT's and Puppy's (yes, I built both for awhile as well) to me at debby@wilsonaudio.com along with maybe a photo or two Again, Welcome!! @ vincentinvasion
Welcome to the Wilson owners club! A good choice. @ Debby May be you bulit my X-1s? I think it is a version II which is upgarded to the main details of level III. But I think I haven't the original serial no. of the version II, because an upgrade causes a new serial number. Is this right that an upgarde causes a new serial number? With the boxes containing the parts for the upgrade I got several new type plates for the different moduls. @ C220MC275/Jérôme The perfect woman? I have the shortest and most wonderful fairy tale of the world also with reference to high end. It is in German and I must try to translate it, may be for a humorous thread. But it is a little ribald so I am not sure... Best regards Friedrich Last edited by Friedrich; 10-19-2011 at 06:59 PM. |
